November 2020-2021

Born out of a desire to see more contemporary art in the Richmond area, a peer from VCUarts and I decided to open tuesday in November of 2020. We both felt that by bringing artists from afar, in conjunction with the many artists we knew from VCU graduate school, that we could create deeper community that transcended the limits of geography (and COVID19). The gallery hosted 5 exhibitions in total, showing work from artists from New York, California, France, Virginia, Mexico, Georgia.

October 2019- May 2020

Upon arriving in Virginia for my Master’s, and after living in Berlin, Germany for 5 years, I found myself house-sitting a historic home, called Fox Farm, in the Fan district. The house was over 100 years old and had the most enchanting backyard garden. As I began my academic pursuit, I felt called to imagine new ways in which the garden could be enjoyed by many. This led me to host group exhibitions with fellow artists and VCU students, and start the project space known as fox garden.
